Metal floor paint

Need to paint the floor in the cab of my van..will rust-oleum al surface or multi purpose paint do ok
Hammerite is another option...need it to cover welding patches and the whole cab surface..

I would use rustoleum rather than hammerite.

Yea that's what I thought ..seems to be the proper stuff alright .after a slap of that the floor should be back in good shape

Don't use hammerite I always use chassis black goes on nice and hard wearing,

As big a fan I am of Rustoleum, I think I'd use smoothrite simply because you can buy a small tin locally and cover the lot. The differences between rustoleum and smoothrite for this application is insignificant I'd say. Make sure you get a good key whatever you use.

I will use the Isoflex liquid rubber as I already have a 5L tin...the rubber smell will go after a while I am shure..

I don't understand what you mean
Do you mean if the smell goes from the liquid rubber or if I use something else to paint the floor?

I meant keep the area well ventilated. I've not forgotten the day I was using evo-stik for carpets. Take plenty of breaks and get fresh air regularly.
