I have a Fiamma wind out awning and the "dayroom" to fix to it seems pretty good so far they can be expensive but bought mine second hand from a member here

Hi Barry

At CampervanCulture.com we have designed a fitting kit so an ARB Australian awning we supply and also sell with the fitting kit can be fitted to a T25 van. The quality is really good and what makes this awning stand apart from the Fiamma is the range of add on rooms and sides that are are also good quality.

They are all listed here, http://campervanculture.com/product-cat ... s/awnings/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope this helps.

Just fitted my new ARB awning from campervan culture.
Took a whole 2 and half minutes from start to finish. Well pleased.
Fits under my lean to aswell, so no problems when it comes to letting it dry out when wet.
Will post some better pics later .

Fitted my ARB awning room onto the main awning.

Only took 12 minutes to put up and 10 mins or so to take down.
Much better than the awnings I've had before, which where the drive away type.
Best addition to the van by a long way. Well worth the money, a great product

What brackets did you use to attach yours?

Standard Fiamma brackets for a T3 guttermount awning - only because I had them - CVC sell a mounting kit now. They needed bending out very slightly to allow the bolts to clear the poptop seal.

Mine came with the awning, which are a CVC mounting kit, went straight on.

Just trying to work out if CVC's brackets are worth £111.99

CVC (with brackets) £369.99
http://www.flatdoguk.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (no brackets) £258

The CVC Fitting brackets are not like the Fiamma ones. The CVC ones sit the awning higher so the rooms and stuff fit on 2wd vans and the bag sits up away from rubbing on the top of the sliding door. They also angle the awning out away from the roof so that the pop top roofs can be lifted with no catching and you can walk around underneath them.
All fitting hard wear is stainless steel and they are shot blasted, etch primed and power coated rather than just sprayed and are made here in the UK. We make £10 on each set of brackets and are made to fit the ARB awning with no extra drilling or bending. They also don't rattle when driving.

We get an email from the USA most days asking if we will sell just the brackets and ship them to the USA because people are not happy with manipulating the Fiamma ones to make do and the results. The answer is always no and we ship the whole kits to them inc the awning as the shipping is only £90. We have even shipped these back to Australia as the CVC kits are steadily becoming recognised as bing the only kit that works.

I would imagine paying the extra £20 per bracket for something that is made for the job, better made and easy to fit is a worth while purchase.

I hope this helps.

But do those very nice looking rooms fit on Fiamma awnings?

They do look good.
