I'm looking for some new tyres for the van. I need 185r14 C. I understood that the "C" stood for commercial and basically means that the tyres can support a slightly heavier load than those for a standard family car. However, when I try to search online at various sites it doesn't give me an option for 'commercial' rather a speed rating? I don't think my van is capable of going above 80mph (unladen, downhill and with a tailwind) so speed rating seems a bit irrelevant. Anyone know of a good place to get decent quality tyres for standard 14" steel rims?

All 185r14 tyres you will see now will be c rated van tyres, I buy tyres through blackcircles, have always been well priced and helpful, plus they are based locally to me so I like to support them.

Try Oponeo they are a Polish company that exports Europe wide with free delivery.
Select van and deselect car in the vehicle type drop down box you will get C rated tyres. Otherwise you will only get car tyres.
