Ok I've unearthed a long standing leak from the fresh water tank under the sink. Chipboard floor rotten and stinking but , on ripping it out, the steel looks OK. I've got a box of click laminate from B&Q for a tenner and want to know if it will bridge the ridges in the floor for a year or so while I get a full refurb sorted. Going to set the kitchen unit on a coulpe of battons and put loose carpet in the cupboards for now. Any thoughts?

it'll be fine, just lay it across the ridges, not with them
