I have finally repainted, filled and hung the replacement doors on Marv and they look ace!

I need to wire up the electric windows still. I asked for some advice a while back and got some helpful responses, although they assumed a level of knowledge much greater than I have.

Where I have managed to get to so far with the advice gained previously:
Wiring that connects the driver and passenger window switches all joined together underneath/behind dash - check
Remaining red wire and black wire - check
Black wire to earth - check
Red wire to fused 15amp switched live supply - this is where I have no idea what to do. Do I run the red wire to the fusebox and look for a space in the fusebox or do i need to add in a small fusebox somewhere else?

You're right - and either. Personally I'd wire electric windows to leisure battery otherwise when you camp, if you need to open the window, you have to keep turning the ignition on. Not ideal (from experience). It was just one of those things I discovered.

That rather throws 'switched' out the window (excuse the pun) but its a different ballgame in a camper rather than a car.

CovKid makes a good point ^^^.

Wire the red wire straight to your leisure battery, with a 15A fuse close to the battery end.

Are they original VW elec windows?
My Caravelle has elec windows on a switched live.
The switches in the doors has a small light in them. its probably only a watt or two, but If you wire them in on a permanent live it will eventually flatten the battery.
Window motors are on a 20A fuse.

Leisure battery for the win chaps, thank you all so much.

Handily enough, there was a small fuse box adjacent to the leisure battery so it was a breeze getting it all wired up.
