Firstly can I hold my hand up and say I'm a complete novice bit love my T25 (E reg).
The problem is that the clock has just started going mad on me it runs super fast. The minute hand is running like its a second hand. This doesn't cause too much of an issue (apart from being annoying) whilst driving but drains the battery completely whilst stationery. Getting around this by disconnecting he battery whenever stopped at the moment but wonders if anybody he an easy fix for this. Happy to totally disconnect the clock if needs be. I have an original fuse box in the glove box and wondering if it would have its own fuse which could be removed?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Some clock errors are caused by 2 capacitors failing inside - they can be replaced if you are competent with a soldering iron.

Thanks. Part of the problem is getting the clock out it seems a big task to get the dash apart to get to it.
Hence why I was hoping that it would have its own fuse which I could Just disconnect, at least short term.

There isn't a separate fuse but if you yank off the gauge cover you should be able to see the two connections for the clock (where the blue plastic pcb connects to two screw terminals in the centre of the pack of the clock bit)
You could disconnect these to stop the clock (you'd probably also need to tape off the ends of the blue pcb to make sure it doesn't short out on something)

Presumably you have blade fuses?

1. Radiator fan. 30 Amp
2. Brake lights. 10 Amp
3. Reading lamps,interior lamps, vanity mirror, clock, fag lighter, radio. 15 Amp

Sorry meant to reply sooner but the fuse tip worked a treat. I've removed the corresponding fuse for now and will think about trying to fix it later.
