The passenge side break has always blinded slightly but now the drivers side has started. On long journeys I think it's heating the wheel up and melting the grease from the bearings not to mention the squealing! How to I free them up. i cleaned and put gone copper grease on the sliders a while ago but obviously it didn't do any thing. Can I free them off or should I just replace the calipers as been told once they start I'll be constantly freeing them off?

OK
Firstly when was the fluid changed last, it should be every two years.
Inside the caliper bore is a seal.
Under the seal is probably some rust and crap.
This is what stops the caliper piston releasing the disc
Remove the caliper
Pump out the piston
Remove the seal (carefully and remember which way round it was)
Clean the seal recess so it shines
Reassemble making sure that every thing is spotless before you fit it.
Buy 3 litres of fluid
Flush out the old fluid
Wear your seat belt when you test the brakes

Ok brill thanks I'll give that a go. I've never changed the fluid and had the van 4 years! I'll do that to then.

Good move.
Changing the fluid won't stop the binding brake problem, it just makes them better
