Morning all,should I use the water cooled turbo in my sb engine swap? what are the pros/cons?[taking in to account the high temps here 40deg c at 10.30am!!]

Hi,
I used it in mine and it works fine, I've heard it doesn't really need the water connected and VW discontinued it not long after.
But as its a part of the engine I plumbed it in and it runs fine.

Si did you use the intercooler? if so where did you fit it?

I fitted a Saab 900 intercooler in the left hand space below the the vans behind the lights, it's a fairly well documented fitting particularly on samba.

what did you do to use the sb turbo , just about to collect an sb engine next week so just gathering all info i can
