Mk 1,2,3 Golf. Although you are at risk of obscuring some of your dash instruments unless you have the driving position of a midget.

Find a 'power steering' one from a Carravelle, they're a bit smaller and padded.

I picked up an early T4 one which is slightly smaller and very much fatter.

80's Audi or Porsche fit too iirc

i believe there's one from an Lt that's nicely padded and straight fit
