recommended mechanic

Can I just pay respect to Steve from GAS SURE. I took a snail of a t25 to him this week and have been handed back a different van. It actually accellerates, and maintains the speed.
There is no doubt that Steve knows what he is doing. One look inside the engine bay and he spotted the wrong dizzi, no electronic iginition. He has virtually saved the engine from meltdown as the previous so called mechanic had left off one of the most importnt peices of tin ware. This is usually an engine out job to fit, but Steve fitted it during the day whilst the van was with him.
Anyway. Engine now purring and keeping cool, auto gearbox that now works properly. and a very confident van owner. A days labour plus parts. for at least half what you would pay a so called VW garage.
Steve is situated in Queensferry near to the North wales border. Ideal day would to drop your van off and go shopping in Chester. I would highly recommend Steve for all your T25 servicing.
Regards
Scouse.
(and no I haven't had a discount for ths new topic)!!
