Seam rust has started to appear on most of the seams on my camper, i've been told "its not a problem!! will need sorting every year!!!
BUT HOW??????

No one has bothered to tell me that!!!!!!
I don't know where to start or what to do???
Is this something I can do myself or would you recommend a garage???

heres a good starter remeber outside rust is usually just anindication of inner rust, they quite often rust from inside to out, counter intuitive I know.

It's a well-known thing - look in the wiki article for prospective owners. I remember what a shock it was when it first became apparent on mine. You can rake out the seams & treat them with anti-rust then paint & mastic but that's only good cosmetically for a year or two - ultimately it's a bodyshop (welding) job. By that time there's probably welding that needs doing anyway.
Take heart - seams rust, & panels perforate, but the underneaths of these vans last longer than anything.
Oh & Hacksaw's right too!
