Door Speakers

I planning on fitting speakers in the front doors. I'd like to run a rubber sheath (oo-er) between the A post and the door to stop the wire being squished and to make it look all neat. Is there a part available for this or is it a case of finding another one that'll do/ making my own?

Yes there is a rubber casing for the loom. Look inside the door jamb - there is a box hole that runs around the front of the van to the opposite door. If you put your hand in there there should be a round hole on the side wall. That's how the sheath attaches to the van.
If you look where the door marries this box section, the door has an aperture. The sheath fits to the door through this and, again there is a round hole for the sheath to attach to.
Some doors don't have the hole (mine don't - 1985 MY). I'm not sure if it's because the van is an earlyish van or because it came off the production line as a low spec van.

I used the corrugated hose from a large airbed pump.
