gearbox selector oil seal

Hi, this is the 3rd time I have posted this tonight??? if I am doing somthing wrong and getting them deleted please TELL me so I can get it right.
Now on to the problem my selector oil seal needs replacing, I have the blue one but can't workout how to get the old one out.
How do you do it, hopefully without removing the box!

A job I need to do sometime but Bentley manual says you just lever it out with screwdriver. Not so sure how big it is but I've removed the bigger crankshaft seals and the like with self tappers in the past. Screw them in just enough to grip and then pull with pliers.

Let us know how you get on for when I get round to doing this and what is the significance of the blue one?

I found this very late last night after a lot of searching:

can be done in situ
remove the reverse switch housing and pull the shaft partly out (in neutral) to allow seal to be prizedd out and new one fitted
obsolete btw

Hope he doesn't mind me nicking it, pulling the shaft out from the other side like that made it easy to lever it out with a screwdriver.
Mine stopped before the thread went all the way in, but there was still enougth room.
The "blue one" is the correct seal not the slightly cheaper black one, apparently, I'm no expert!
Take the little metal spring off and push it in with a socket, 19mm with my kit. Grease it first.

Also make sure to find and unblock the breather hole - on the top near the front, photo on someone elses thread on the same subject
