Looking at the engine today what do these 3 sensors so ?
1. On the engine block
2 top rubber hose
3 bottom rubber hose

Do the top and bottom hose the same part sensor ? They look the same ??

What are their jobs ?

Get some pictures of the sensors posted mate

Green wire ? Upper coolent pipe

Blue ??engine block
Yellow/red ? Lower coolent pipe

The one on the end of the head with the blue wire and terminal is the low oil pressure warning switch the one next to it is the coolant temperature sender and the one at the top is the coolant temperature sender for the glow plugs.

That injector, and particularly that pipe attached to it look pretty rusty

I'd be more worried about the loose bolt.

It's been rusty like that for the two years I've had the van... So hopefully it will give me a few more years !!!

Loose bolt been like that for over 5 years (last owner) I've had it checked out it well and truly bolted in (starter)
