Has anyone replaced the fresh water tank filler hose?

Hello,

I have an Autosleeper Trident and the inch 1/4 flexi hose from the filler to the tank has become brittle and leaks. Has anyone replaced this? Do I need a special fresh water hose, have seen garden pond flexi hose that is the right size?

Many thanks

You'd want one specific for potable water, otherwise you end up with a plastic taste to the water. Places like CAK tanks and rainbow leisure sell the correct hose.

Typically seems the standard fresh water pipe is either 25mm or 40mm mine is 32mm! Mmmm ... Google hunt then :)

Ask for 1.1/4" clear braided PVC. Any hydraulic hose company should be able to get you some.

Rotec over Billacombe or Flexihose in Miller Court, or Pirtek at Valley Road.

I bough some from my local caravan store. Super cheap and cut to size.
