hello all :D
looking to buy our first vw van (hopefully t25), and having looked at a lovely van last night, I am wondering how easy it is to change a single passenger seat for a double, and how easy it is to fit seat belts? we are a family of five and will need two belts fitting in the back, and two on a double passenger seat.
thank you

The nuts and bolts of it is really simple, takes no time or skill whatsoever. The double seat uses the same runners (slide rails) as the single seat and the mounting points for the seat belt (lap belt for the middle seat) are accessible. The question is, and this is the clincher, does your van have a bulk head of any shape or form?

My van used to have a double up front but just swapped with a mate so I now have a single. My double just slid onto the same runners, no bulkhead (although I do know some need the bulkhead to support the upright section).

The 'centre' seat just had a lap belt and used all existing seat bolt mountings.
