Mine was there for a few years with no problems, you just need to get a legal sticker

Hi
At the risk of being bombarded by the I've had stickers on for ages with no problems and I've seen loads of cars with stickers on.
Stickers aren't legal they by their design can't comply with the BSAU145d requirement.
Yes you can put them on, can you get a ticket yes, will you tbh unlikely on that kind of a vehicle.
A standard legal plate in that position should have no probs.

I have an Alfa 159 which like many alfas has the plate offset to nearside of front bumper

I see enough "one life live it" farmers cars with the front plate in any number of places, even on the roofrack...
