1.7d spares

so, picked up the new van, its a 1.7d. as it is ignored in the Haynes, could anyone tell me which spares i need to get together to carry?
in the old Aircooled van is carried:
clutch cable
accelerator cables
alternator belt
spark plug
fuel hose and clips
+ bulbs etc
i'm looking at getting a similar stash of spares to carry, anything else i should be looking at?
also, do any of them carry across different models (ie 1.6d etc) or are they all specific?
