Fuse ratings

Can anyone confirm the correct Fuse ratings for the twin fuse carrier located on/around B post on Westfalia campers. One provides power to the Fridge/kitchen unit and I think is 16A-the second I guess is for the start current to the Eberspacher and should be larger?
Its a 1990 Diesel.
Thanks
Chris

The Eberspächer (D2L/B2L) should have a 16Amp main fuse.

Cheers Oldie
Found a wiring diagram that shows fuses E1 and E2 located on the B pillar at 16amp for the fridge/water pump and 25 Amp for the Eberspacher. It is for a 1985 model though -but can't see there being a difference to my 1990 as its same heater.
Thanks anyway

I don't know why they use a 25 Amp one, the heater manual clearly says 16A. Maybe they have something else on that circuit that warrants it being that value but I can't see anything else on the wiring diagram (Which is v. hard to read!).

Red 16Amp for the Eberspacher heater (closest to the kit-chen unit) and a white 8amp for the kit-chen block lights/water pump etc (closest to the door aperture)
Make sure the fuses are 'Ceramic' and NOT cheap plastic ones that melt.

That's exactly the problem I'm having with the fridge on 12v -plastic fuse slowly deforms over a period of time. Now to find 'old school ceramics'!

The 'heat' is generated by resistance (a poor connection) this can be mostly cured by cleaning and 'tensioning' the brass contacts so the fuse is held in 'under pressure' or better still...the fuse box replaced by a modern 'Blade type' see;
