Which rotor arm?

So I ordered a rotor arm (along with a load of other service stuff!) and the one I got is what I'd call a standard rotor arm. However on my van, a 2.0l air cooled CU, it has the rev limiting type arm. Can I just swap them? And if so what difference will it make?
Cheers

Yes you can swap them. Just don't rev the guts out of it. Unlikely you will.

Personally I hated the rev limiter but if you have a habit of driving with a deafening stereo, might be best to run with one. Both operate the same but the limiter will cut power at the limits set - not fun if you have to accelerate hard to get out of trouble.

Brilliant. Cheers. Just one other quick question. The old arm wouldn't just pull off. Should I try and prise it off with a large flat head driver??

Yes, with care. They're certainly not screwed on. Maybe use two screwdrivers - one from each side, but do go gentle.
