Please could someone do me a flava and measure the following on their 2wd wbx bus?

I need to know the distance from the top of the engine lifting eye bosses (front and rear) to the underside of the engine hatch (smallest dimension in both cases)

Ta :ok

That's tricky to measure, and it depends whether you want the underside of the padding or the metal lid itself. So I've taken measurements instead to the top of one of the ridges on the hatch floor (see photo), then added a couple of mm as the engine cover sits a couple of mm proud of the hatch floor. I'll leave you to subtract whatever engine lid depth you want to.

So to the top of an engine cover ridge I get 199mm for the rear (pulley end) and 194mm for the front (flywheel end).

That will do nicely Chris, thanks. Since the Subaru came out I havent had any reference points to work from.
Worst case dimensions will do nicely (cant see the pic yet)

Oops - photo added. I measured to the underside of the wood, then added a couple of mm.

Gotcha. Enough to work with for now, I am looking for big problems with forced induction hardware, not a couple of mm...

I knew there was somethng else...
How far from the bellhousing/crankcase mating face to the vertical firewall panel?
I guess its only about 50-60mm or so?

Should have said: horizontal dimension. Tryng to work out how much I can have on top of the engine & overhanging the bellhousing but not foul the body.
