Vege engine

im going to see a t25 for sale with a 1.9 wc vege engine only done 1000mls, anyone have experience of these engines ?

Could be anything inside. If you see clear silicone anywhere on the engine it could well mean nasty corrosion.

10 years ago they were excellent. Now they can be a disaster. My local garage refuses to give any warranty for these engines after previous disasters. Sorry!

We no longer sell engines, sick of having to put them right for free.
There's a genuine gap in the market to do them properly, thing is that the UK WBX owner is not prepared to pay what it costs to rebuild one properly and reliably.

About 4k for a standard spec wbx with all the best bits and done properly, most of it goes in the bin round here. For not much more you can have a 2.5

Reduce the price..use it to save up for the inevitable death..and its replacement
