What year van? RHD or LHD? Petrol or diesel? RHD is rare as hens teeth these days.
Electric column is an option but get the steering uprights changed for PAS ones or it will be too light/dangerously over assisted.

Petrol or diesel? Hoses and pumps are different. You will pay £400+ for a rhd rack alone these days, if you can find one for sale

You'd think it would be worth then tooling up to make a new batch

The Elite system is speed controlled, at any reasonable road speed the power steering isn't in operation. You do not get a feeling of over assistance.

Hi and welcome,
There are a few specialists who fit the corsa epas (electric power assisted steering) column but they want about £550 to fit the kit or £400 to supply - heres one.

I have a corsa c epas column in garage on the shelf and all the associated electrics required to make it variable assistance.... just never seem to get round to fitting it - I keep thinking of selling it to fund other works but its one of those rainy day projects I would like to tackle some day.

ps - anyone know of a how to / step by step guide for fitting in our vans ? .... If,when I get round to fitting mine I will post the experience.... busy with mot and bodywork atm
Best
