Aircooled inlet manifold hot.

We have a 2.0 CU running Dells.
When running and up to temp one side carb cold and manifold is cold.
Opposite side is hot and the carb warm.
What could cause this?

Blocked air filter? ( One method I used to detect contraband hidden in air conditioning filters on ships - output is hotter than it should be. You can detect it the same in the air filters on running engines - blockage and the air filter is hot. Mind you these filters were the size of our engines!)

I would hope it was that simple but it's not the case here, thanks.

You need to look at the side that is cold...
Essentially once the engine is up to temp, you'll have heat transfer up the inlet manifold from the head, so if one side is cold, and the other hot, then the cold side isn't running right...
