15w 40 Mineral oil (some use 20w 50). Cartridge type filter. Most suppliers will supply you with a Mann filter.
All the service parts you need here:
https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/ ... parts.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
GSF and ECP also stock just about everything you need for servicing. Just go on their website and tap in your reg.
35% off at GSF this weekend if you plug in CAR35 on the checkout page

15w 40 semi-synthetic is an option though obviously not what the van would've drunk when new. Mine had been serviced with this for 15 years before I bought it - no leaks anywhere or other issues. Some specialists use it too. I have carried on with the same spec, it's very easy to find this stuff off-the-shelf. I change it every 3000 miles - probably would last twice as long but it's cheap and easy to do for peace-of-mind.

For those new to 80/90 its THE most often asked question. We must get 20 threads discussing 'what oil' every year. The WIKI is a good benchmark and doesn't rule out other types - it just helps suggest the ones that are deemed suitable. Its your engine, your choice. Changing it regularly is the key. Sunflower oil would also work, providing you change it every ten yards.
