Obviously my language is highly technical!

I took the automatic gearbox casing apart...to get to the 2 little light bulbs contained within, in order to change them so I could see the letters light up in the dark when im trying to change gear. I managed to change one, but the other had a metal bit missing inside the bulb holder...so it wouldnt connect.
Where can i buy one of these from? I dont know what they would be called?

You can always fit LED ones.

Ive actually bought the bulbs but its the holder on one of them that seems not to be working..

Might have a bulb holder.But it will be in my van.Trouble is my vans in the bodyshop at the mo.hopefully it should be home in the next week.

VW dealers still sell them, part number 437 919 039 about £3+ called a bulb holder surprisingly.
