I was just wondering how those who have gone before me to do a passat flipped box install have connected the Slave cylinder on the clutch? Obviously the T25 clutch pipe is going to be different to the the connection on the Passat slave cylinder.
What method do you use to connect the two? Flaring a pipe to fit or a cut-off stub?
Dave.

Some fit. Unfortunately i cant see a part number on there or remember what vehicle i purchased it for, sorry.
Just remember you need to bleed it before you fit it as when fitted the bleed nipple is at the bottom and i wont bleed.

I've seen that type on ebay, looks like the one which is apparently fitted to the 1.8T engined versions. The Diesels seem to have what looks like a plastic section although I could be wrong.
So yours literally just bolted straight on MGP?
Dave.

Yes that straight section that sticks out of the slave came with it. Mine is a petrol box as its bolted to an aaz so its likely that i ordered the slave for that box.

Looks pretty much like this one.

I'll have a look at my gearbox tomorrow and see if the connector looks anything like this one at all.

I cant see any threads in that one i think that might take a push in hose fitting
