I've got the round lights, they don't so much light the road as much as 'bathe it in a soft mood lighting' which is bordering on downright dangerous on late night dashes around west-lake district trying to find a spot.... i toyed with the idea of getting big square lights tbh... sorry i don't have an answer... i just thought... i'll go now...

Take Mockis advice, I bought some of the "sooper-bright wizzbang white neon-plasma-vortex-hdi-like" bulbs, they hardly make any difference. The wiring upgrade detailed on Wiki is the way to go, quite straight-forward to do, doesn`t cost much and will make your standard 60/55 W bulbs do what they are supposed to do. If you wire it with proper cable you can always upgrade to bigger wattage bulbs as well (100/80 for off-road use only :) )

And if the headlamp glass isnt marked with "H4" get some of them, the std cheap ones are crap, the H4 has a much better spread.. so with some good quality bulbs (Philps or Osram) and a relay kit, you should think the lights are magic..
