so i'm driving around and i look at the patch of rust where my petrol cap sits and i notice something weird.... the petrol cap isn't sitting... or if it is its not sitting in the patch of rust where it should be... so i go to halfords to be told that they are out of stock... and i get diverted by bass bins and neon things and kits to turn your car pink... and i still don't have a petrol cap save for the plug thing i got from my local 24hr ginsters pastie and muck-mag showroom

does anyone know where i can get a petrol cap that can fit a Blue Van - thats a Blue Van.

thanks

I am gonna take a wild guess...

No petrol cap!!!!

Could be the fuel tank has rotted out on top.. filler neck has rotter (if steel) or any number of the breather pipes and filler seals have perished...

Not sure if this is any help but I recently replaced the rubber filler neck behind the petrol cap. Got all the parts that I needed from Just Kampers. I didn't need a new petrol cap, but they had them in the catalogue (20 quid for a lockable one though!)

Got a locking one spare, trouble is any key fits it and I mean any even a small screwdriver but your welcome to it for the cost of the postage or a pint of the black stuff

thats not a bad thing in my estimation, i lost my keys before and a screwdriver did the trick.... still acts as a visible deterrent tho.

i will swap you ten english pounds for your cap, that should cover postage and indeed a pint of yer choosing.. can you send me yer details?

invest your pennies in a louder stereo, once the blood is pouring down your nostrils from the overwhelming sound wattage you wont notice the smell of buring from the petrol ignited by the flashing pink neon petrol cap trim. just give me a bell first, I want to take pictures! :D
