mig innards

Took the sides off to blow out all the crap shocked how much there was as i only did this a year ago, so worth doing with your own as it does get into switch gear etc
anyhows anyone know what some of the odder looking things are here, looks like out of frankensteins lair.
oh is a 30 yr old elland so quite industrial by the look of things

My Blueweld M22B is rather different inside but similarly chunky in the component dept.

The large round yellowy-gold thing in the middle will be the rectifier stack, converts the AC into DC which is essential for MIG. The thing marked T1 at the bottom is the main transformer.

The 2x devices on the alloy plate to the left are likely to be the switching devices that turn the transformer on and off, probably Triac's of some description, never seen them in that style of package before.
