12v LED external flood lighting on the van

Im thinking about wiring up a 12v led flood light for outdoor use , mounted on the bracket of my Fiama roll out awning. Ive look on the fleebay but it's overflowing with led lights , im not wanting anythin pricy. Has anyone done similar ? What lights did you use or recomend ?

Theres a huge choice mate. I went with anything by CREE as they are great quality and IP rated

Look out for Aldi or Lidl offers - they often have LED flood lights for around 15 yoyos which are good for this.

Some are 12v, some are 240 but once you open them up you can convert them.

I second the CVC culture ones. I adapted mine with a Neodymium magnet on the back rather than riveting.
You can see it on my A Pillar in the photo below

Ha, it was dark outside and I couldn't be arsed to go out and take a photo, so that was the best I had on the phone

Isnt everything led going COB now? Recently bought a couple of rechargeable worklamps that are brighter than the sun, but they might be a bit heavy on current draw.

I just use an old camper van twin flourescent unit screwed to a bit of ply with two staples nailed on as hanging eyes. There's ~6m bit of twin core flex and a 12v plug. This can hang under the rollout awning, go in a tent, or under the van if needed. Not fancy but it cost next to nowt, is flexible and does the job.
