Bit of a unknown the leccy side so I hope one of you brainiacs can help


I am in the middle of re trimming the inside of my T25 Tintop

Now when I stripped the old interior there was a 240v hook up which I would like to re install however I am unsure on how to.
I have attached a couple of pix (not very good) when I pulled it out which may help.

You can see the orange wire which comes in from the 240v plug and the white wire did go to 2 240v sockets.

I would also like to run some 12v LED spots from the leisure battery also

The wire ratings are 'questionable' the white cable looks 5amp at best, orange maybe 10? Either way, they aren't right. The thinner gauge white is going to be in serious trouble if you plug in something like a kettle.

Thanks for this so what is your suggestion?

I always reckon that with stuff like mains electricity, if you are not confident in doing it, best find someone who knows and buy them some beers. None of it is a big job, so not too many beers would be required. They could do the wire choices and connect it up, leaving you to route the wires and fix the sockets to the surfaces etc.

Thanks for this so what is your suggestion?

Find out what power ratings your equipment needs, then wire the plug sockets for them, as for the hook up cable, most campsites provide 16 amps, so make sure the cable can handle it.
