Um..okay so this is technically not technical!! But I've just bought a couple of rubber mats for the footwell of my t25..shaped to fit etc.
IS THERE A KNACK ?! I cannot get them to plug into the holes!

 thanks, Emma

Stick them in a bowl of really hot water for 5 mins or so to soften the rubber then try again. The ones I have were really stiff and the previous owner had botched them in with glue. After softening up a bit they fitted the holes.

I have the same problem with mine. Been like it for years, the r/h one keeps falling out / off. Tried the hot water thing, still not "clipped in right"
I saw two different types at the Oswestry show, one lot were like a hard(ish) plastic, the other lot were more rubbery. I should have bought a pair of the rubbery ones I guess, but I didn't

last oe set i fitted still needed the holes to be as new and sharp not a punched out effort like in the pattern steps
i weld them up now and fit a textured coating

Whole lot better idea anyway. The rot evident in many steps is testament to the barmy idea of clip-in trims. I agree, seal them up.
