Help! Oil return pipe from Turbo

Hi Folks, first post on here so be gentle when pointing out that I'm clearly being a muppet!

I have a 1990 T25 1.6TD camper which is in the garage having a new turbo fitted, however the garage have called to say that the oil return pipe doesn't fit the new turbo. I've popped over for a look and the new turbo has a female tapped hole (M15 fine thread I think) and the oil return pipe has a domed end and a female threaded nut which I think is M18.

I think the return pipe is the standard JX part however the old turbo seems to be from an Audi 80 based on the part no (068145703B) and had a bodged welded fitting to attach the return pipe. The garage can't use this as it's on a plate bolted to the turbo rather than being tapped into a hole. The air intake hose had been bodged to fit too!

I bought the new turbo from ATP Spare Parts on Ebay and I've sent them a message to see if they've forgotten to supply an adapter fitting or what. I'm awaiting a response on that but I thought i'd get involved on here anyway and thought it was worth asking the question.

Anyone know if there is a vw part or just a standard pipe fitting which connects the two?

Next question - anyone know where I can get hold of the bolts which fix the turbo to the engine? I can't find them anywhere online. They've got a strange head on them, like an inverse tri square.

Any leads or advice greatly appreciated. (Yes yes, I know, don't buy things from abroad on ebay!!!)
Simon

bolts aren't cheap
http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/t ... -long.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/t ... short.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

the jx return hose is like this, sounds like yours isn't?
http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/t ... td-jx.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The turbo will have a female thread on either side, one for oil in and one for oil out. You are then meant to unscrew fittings from the old turbo and fit into both holes, this will then give you a male thread on each one.
You should also get a new oil feed and return hose, if not it tends to invalidate the warranty on the new turbo

Thanks so much for the speedy reply!

Wow, they are expensive bolts. Thanks for the lead though, that's 50% of my woes sorted! I take it I need 2 long and 2 short?

My return pipe does look like that but the fitting that should have been in my old turbo was not as the turbo was off an Audi and had a bolted plate flange connection which had been bodged by welding a threaded stub on.

Anyone know where I can get the correct adapter from? Worth trying VW first I suppose.

Cheers
Simon

drop brickwerks an email, they do the threaded fitting for the oil feed. They may well have on for the oil return. Been a while since I've looked at a jx turbo to remember exactly what the return fitting looks like

Brickwerks did indeed have the answer:

So I've ordered all the bits and fingers crossed it's all going to fit. Watch this space!

Thanks so much for rapid rescue Lloydy!
