Possibly its a leak in the vacuum tube coming from your intake manifold. Disconnect the tube from your manifold and block the hole for it, then take it for a drive and see how it is, but remember! Your brakes wont be servo assisted so youll need to press them pretty hard to stop. If there is an improvement in the running, then youve got a vacuum leak.

--the heat exchager on a watercooled exaust is just to heat the air for the air intake so dont worry about that---try every thing else first but you may have to take top of carb off to clean out float bowl--first get some Wynns aerosol carb cleaner from Halfords & squirt in carb air intake--

the vacuum takeoff is to the left of the "lpg adjustment screws"
