Mirror solutions

As a maturing old fart I am finding my t25 mirrors less than adequate for rear viewing, apart from the obvious syncro mirror alternatives, which seem to cost a small fortune ! Does anybody know of a good alternative to bolt onto my 25 which will help this old chap see much more clearly ?
Or maybe I should just get a white stick and a Labrador !

A few have fitted landy mirrors, Rowlsey on here makes a bracket to help fit, there is a thread about it.

I don't find Labradors very adjustable, even when prodded with a stick (white or otherwise)

But they are good at licking the windows clean and giving you a warm welcome when you come back to the van .

Here's the link to the Land Rover Mirrors - i've just got Rowlesy to make me up some brackets as this is a mod that i'm going to be doing (currently in the process of getting mine powder coated):

If you want something better than flat glass ones, why not buy a pair with convex mirrors. Just Kampers sell them made by Hagus, the people who made them for VW originally. If you would like a bit of advice, re-use the springs from your old mirrors on the new as the aftermarket ones tend to have weaker springs and you can have them folding in at speeds over 90* even when you tighten the nut really tight. There is a thread somewhere in the Tech section about it.

(*90 kph)

JK part numbers J11710 and J11711

From one half blind old fart to another! Good luck!
