Making my own cushion seats for a RnR bed

If anybody can help please feel free to throw in an idea.....
I have my full width RnR bed from Volkswares.
I have a king size memory foam mattress to cut up.
I have an electric bread knife at the ready.
Is this a matter of just making a template using the bed seat and back then transferring onto the foam?
The mattress is quite a lot deeper than the 10cm so that's going to take some cutting.
I was going to cut the final piece that goes above the engine bay once the seat is in.
Any help appreciated.
