Stopped alongside a T3 this evening, at the traffic lights as they changed. Didnt have time to ask how. But she had BLUE instrument lights in the dash.
Any of you bright sparks know how this is done?? Looked real good

Hi Old One, ive got green dash lights and a red time clock, got them from a German company called Aulich 24, but you can do it yourself, i think there is a step by step post on the Brickyard.

you'll need three tho! direct replacement for existing lamps, if your handy you could just puta 12v led in the bulb holder, would require some soldering!!

Received the new blue lights yesterday. well chufed.

Spent time this morning fitting them.. looking forward to the results, nice blue dash Dials :lol

Switched the lights on, NOTHING, no dash lights at all

Checked out the new bulbs. not one of them working. Will have to go back to originals.

I hope the Ebay Shop will change them

Disco Dave have you used these. I know you suggested them ,or did you find them browsing ?

I have them with white clock covers there rubbish dont get them' cant see the milometer (they where on the van when i got it)

If your van is a metallic blue, With blue dash lamps. And you are About 35 years old with shoulder length, I think reddish hair, and of the female gender, and you were driving in Colchester last Wed. Then yes it could have been you

12v led + resistors from maplins. about 20 differant colour available but make sure there 12v.

fitted to original holders plus a little soldering needed

Hi the saga continues.
Got the blue lights(suggested by DiscoDave) Total c**p. Didn't even fit the hole they were supposed to go in. Push them in twist and they fell out
Tested them with Bat and probes ,yes they do light up Now in the process of transferring them over to the original bulb holders Wish me luck
Fortunately I do have a small soldering iron and the know how to do it. I hope


t25.. looks good. I don't know if I will be going for white dials. See how it looks when I finish

how have you done the white dials, if they are a kit, are there kits which will include a tacho, instead of the clock

dink... I think these are the ones on Ebay They come printed and you stick them to your original dials..

If I am wrong , no doubt t25 will put me right

sorry old one, must be a differenrt type of tweist lock, hope you get it sorted!

Changed two over, and they tested out OK!!! Not yet tried them in the van
