My daily runner old Nissan Micra has a slight wisp of a leak in one of the corners would k seal do the trick ?

Reluctant to change rad yet as its only got a few months MOT left and then it's prob off to crusher heaven !

Any first hand experience with it ?

Out of interest with the t25 cooling system being complicated could it be used in the old trusty steeds ?

Gsf have 35 % this weekend so it's about £7 for a bottle

I'd rather fix the leak than fill my delicate system with goop

But would you put a new rad on a car you are going to scrap soon.I would go with the Kseal myself.

Last week Michael Tyler (brickwerks) put a photo on the facebook page of water pump from a T25 which had had k-seal put in it. There was an unbelievable amount of solids hooping up the tracts around the impeller, you can only imagine the internals of the engine would be similar.

Try this and see if the link works. I struggle to export I ages from facebook so I'm not sure how this will go. Fingers crossed.

Success, the pic of the head is visible, I'll try and export the other pics of pump, etc.

K-seal has copper dust in it iirc. Introducing cuprous metals into an all-aluminium cooling system is best avoided.
Its an emergency bodge only.
