Rust doesn't count as a colour so you need to sort that out!

Mine were black and then spayed in waxoil and now have plastic inserts to keep all the water and crud away from the arches!

Despite my van being bluey grey, I've painted mine with white Rustoleum, that way I can see WHEN spots of rust are appearing.

So how do you rate the plastic inserts? I have been thinking about going for a set of these for ages, but figured that they would need so much fettling to get them in and secure that they probably would more throuble than ther're worth. So I pretty well talked myself out of it.

Got them from Brickwerks a few years ago after restoration work and the underside was waxoiled. They fitted really well, but a screw and washer have been used on each one just as a precaution.

Ok cool, thanks for that, that has been really helpful. :ok
Cos even though I give her a good rinse in and around the wheel arches every time I wash her (since I completley revamped her under-belly last year), it keeps playing on my mind how much the winter roads can just attack the chassis and whell arches, and have allways wondered whether the plastic liners would be any good.

Cheers
