Camper front table leg

Not sure whether this should be filed under Campers, but this way it gets to the most people. So....
You know the front table leg in a westy, the one that fits to the corner of the passenger seat box? How does the bracket mount to the corner? Are they bolts, self-tappers, or something else? Bearing in mind that I'm going to buy one of Jed's patent steps, I guess they need to be held pretty solid. Anyone?

Two things tforturton: (1) can anyone post the link for the step? Looks a great idea (providing it doesn't slice you leg off as you move about!) (2) where can you get one of those grey cushions that sits on the box - mine is grim

Brackets now fitted - when I looked, it turned out that there were a set of four self-cut screws in the packet. All done now.
