And i dont think an alloy one would be faster tho if you over tighten plastic they'd split. My New Years project, jus had some corrado mirrors delivered now... 8)

Just got mine today too.
Any of you clever lot know what wires do what on these mirrors?
I have 2 groups of 3 wires
Black, Brown, Blue the other Black/red trace, Brown/red trace, White

I also have a switch from another source that has I think seven contacts in side on the circuit board I was thinking of soldering some wires on to the board rather than trying to find a plug to fit. Any of you have a Corrado wiring diagram?

What do you meen by mirror base? the cast part or the plastic seat that the cast bit sits on like a hard plastic gasket.

The cast alloy piece, It will be a case of adapt the corrado gasket bolt on the base then bolt on the corrado mirror so i need an old base for dims. etc, u got one steve? Typical i had bout a dozen this time las year...
