Help - 2.5 Legacy Lambda Sensor wiring
Posted: 06 Feb 2015, 20:57
Hi,
During the course of removing the engine and wiring from my 2003 2.5 Legacy, the plug on the harness side of the lambda sensor went missing. Here is what Richard at RJES says...
Looking at the wiring diagram, it’s easy to see how to connect up 2 of the 4 wires. However, the diagram does not show sufficient detail for me to work out which way around to connect the other two, and it does matter which way around they go. I am unsure whether connecting them the wrong way around will just not work, or whether it could also cause damage. I’d say I’m 90% sure I know which way around the last two wires go. To be 100% sure I’d need to have a look at undamaged harness of the same spec and it’s lambda sensor. Unfortunately it’s not a very common engine management system you’ve got.
Does anyone have a Legacy motor of the same vintage that you can take a photo of?
Cheers, Iain.
