My mums LHD came with an awning, a raleigh one so presume its the old type, upon trying it against her van the sliding door if opened is is outside of the awning so if raining would allow the rain into it. Is this normal or is the awning for a RHD?

Hello, trying to remember as summer feels such along time ago! With my old royal traveller awning the passenger door was outside and the sliding door was inside, the same with my 'new to me' awing which has no name. So at a guess I'd say its ment for a RHD? Could it be adapted in anyway?

You are fitting it wrong.
The front is supposed to Finish at the b pillar, the font door should be outside the awning.

If i did that then there would be no way of getting in and out, in the pictures the sliding door is inline with the opening for going in and out.

I think you are correct in your thinking that it is for a rid vehicle. If the tunnel is offset to the side of the awning then you will never make it fit a lhd vehicle

Excellent, makes me glad I ordered the one that recently came up on here for a lhd, how much are awnings worth then as this one will be getting sold on now then since its no good to us.
