Hightop mould on E-bay

I spotted this on e-bay. It looks like the same roof shape as the one on my van. If I was closer I might be tempted to buy it and start up a little cottage industry.

Its incredibly messy work, materials not cheap and still only has a limited market. I've seen other moulds come up on ebay only to appear again months or even a year later. That may tell you something.

Plus stuck-on roofs are a sure-fire way to rust out a previously sound tin top. I've not yet seen a roof that I actually liked either (other than the turret type) which is why I've decided to keep my tin-top as it is. Takes some guts to take a tin opener to an otherwise sound roof. There are still many campers that get broken up so s/h roofs tend to predominate, even if cracked/patched.
