Sorry if this maybe should be in Bodywork or summat but; how do other owners clean the top of a high top. It's the bit I really don't like, balancing a bucket and mop on top of a step ladder or standing on the 'roof rack' and feeling like it's going to cave in.
Anyone used a van/truck roller/brush machine like the car washes?

Spray it with TFR (traffic film remover) , don't rub/scrub it, just let it soak for a while ( otherwise any grit dirt or crap stuck in tree sap etc will act as an abrasive) and hose it off.
Do this a second time but use a soft brush or sponge.
No doubt there will be a few variants of products people use but IMHO , whatever you use, don't rub it on the first wash due to the potential of making an abrasive paste and scratching the gel coat.

Telescopic window cleaning pole with a brush.
17 ft should be enough.
The water runs up to the brush head into jets.

Hi,
I used scaffolding to do mine at the weekend and a scourer to get all the black mildew off, spent 2 hours cleaning the blighter this weekend.
Make mental note to do more regularly....

Definitely agree with the guy that said use a window cleaning pole, that is what I’ve been doing and it does the job just perfect. I got my pole and brush system from
https://wfp.co.uk so far it has been very effective at cleaning both my house windows and my car
