Hi all, I'm hoping to buy a genuine big bumper very soon and the seller has said that a 'sandwich' cum spacer is required where the n/s and o/s brackets attach to the van. Does anyone have any pics of their bumper assembly either on or off the van please so that I e got an idea what to fabricate? Many thanks, Mitch.

If you do a search through my posts you'll find a detailed guide to fitting these.

Great help BUT, it doesn't answer my question. I've been informed that wear the side brackets (front bumper) fit the van, a spacer is needed - when fitted at the factory, this spacer thing is integrated to the body. It's this that I'm requesting info about. Also, do you happen to know if those supports for the front bumper (welded to the crush member) come for sale here, eBay or at shows?

Many thanks, mitch.

Those front supports that are welded to the beam are not needed if your bumper has the internal webbing.

All the bits that you need are shown on my thread, if it isn't shown its not needed.

Those two extra bits that are welded to the crush member are not in the best position IMHO. Would it not be better if there were four of them at equal distances covering the full width of the bumper front, thus, supporting more of it's length??
