Clutch Slave Cyl flexible pipe

I need to change the flexible pipe between the Clutch Slave Cyl and the chassis. I thought I had bought the correct one from JK because they said it was the one that screwed directly into the Cyl. However, the Male connector that screws directly into the cyl is fine but, the Female connector on the chassis end is too large ID. I need to connect to a standard 3/8 Male but this just slips inside the Female. JK has not been helpful by simply saying that mine must have been modified. Does anybody know where I can get an adapter to screw into the Female and reduce the size. My van is a 1990 T25 and the present flexible(?) pipe is made of a white hard plastic.
All suggestions/info will be appreciated. Thanks. Mick.

Are you sure it is a 10mm (3/8) union, it should be M12.

Yes but the truly savvy know whats good and whats a good price. Buy cheap, buy twice doesn't always hold water. "Shop wisely" probably a better motto.

For anyone who experiences the same problem as me, the female connector on the flexible pipe supplied by JK or VWHeritage has a 12mm X 1mm thread. I bought a 12mm X 1mm male brake pipe connector (I found them easily on Ebay) and my local friendly garage fitted it on the end of the solid pipe that runs along the chassis.

I am surprised that someone out there couldn't explain that to me rather than questioning what I had said or using the opportunity to try and belittle me.

Cheers. Mick.

Belittling the supplier who sold you the wrong part, rather than belittling you, I think.

You shouldn't have to modify an important part of the braking system to make a new part work.
Just Kampers make a living out of naivety, which is a disgrace.
This is why the T25 forum exists to help new owners choose the suppliers of parts more wisely.

Forums can appear to be harsh places, it's not meant that way.
