Does anyone have a Rusty Lee or Devon r&r bed in their T25? I am looking for the measurement of how far the seat base protrudes beyond side loading door aperture, when in it's seated position (not extended), like in the link below.

http://smallards.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... e-bed.html

Fingers crossed no more than 50mm..very hard to tell from this picture.

I've just measured mine (a devon 3/4 width RnR bed) and it protrudes 90mm from the door aperture.

really useful thank you, don't have van with me for next month or so, & trying to find a bed solution that works with layout plans.

If Devon frame installed 50mm higher than standard & refab/shorten seat base 20mm that may only protrude 50mm

if you've still got that tape measure handy would be useful to know the height above engine bay when in bed postion?
Lee thinks it clears by around 100mm with standard fitting, but other's have said more like 80mm.

High roller, as you were looking for inspiration for your twin slider in another thread.. maybe of interest but alas not walkthrough! I think it is has pop up TV player & slide out hob. Really nice design I think..

I originally had something very similar to that but not as good a quality as that with the curved bit to the off side door. It was a bit squashed getting in and out of either door but functional and also allowed the use of a full width bed. In the end I ripped it out and put a "standard" type interior in blocking off the right hand slider. Maybe in the future if I decide to keep this one I'll think of something different.

Well will be interesting to see what you come up with if & when you decide to. My constraints are keeping mine as a tintop 16" panel with full front bulkhead & being a camper/overlanding vehicle to boot. Different problems but both require well thought out solutions.

Maybe for a twin slider & walk through bulkhead,a shallow curved unit behind passenger & a shallow swing out cooker/unit behind driver & perhaps a little fold down seat between the two may work if the bed in seating position did not protrude beyond sld. Not sure but I saw a multivan seat recently & I think that was about level with sld.. I guess it all depends what we want from the vehicle though.

Anyway best of luck with it & thanks again for the help :)
