Hi

I just tried to fill my screenwasher and the moment I poured it in, it just poured out onto the ground. I don't think it was a hole in the tank, as it came out straight away; as if a hose had come disconnected.

Any ideas on how to fix this please?

Sounds like the filler neck has either come out of the screen-wash tank, or could be the rubber seal that fits in the top of the tank that the filler neck fits into. Looks like a mucky job getting underneath the front of the `van and locating the tank and having a look

Yeah, was great. Went over the border to the other side (Yorkshire, got me passport stamped) ended up coming back through Sowerby Bridge (packed) really sunny day over that neck o the woods as well

you will probally find the bottle is full but once you start pouring water above the max line into the filler neck it will leak out as the rubber for the spout has perished

I have just serviced my washer system, only this weekend

The tank comes off dead easy ( 4 x 10ml bolts underneath ).
Don't undo the filler neck unless you have too as that is a bit of a pain to get back in place ( tho not that hard really )

Might be wise to get some spare tubing as it often goes hard and brittle.
I got mine from B&Q, the next size up from the smallest they stock.
Also go to an aquarium shop and get some of those lil plastic tube joiners to hook up to the existing tube that goes to the jets.

Post Script...

Whilst I was doing this, I noticed that from what I could see, you would have to strip the entire dash out to get at the tubing that connects to the jets !!

( probably wrong, but thats what it looked like to me )

no just tape some new pipe to the old and pull it through
